Have been using it for about 3 hrs now and it’s pretty awesome ! Heat up it pretty quick, has in if switch. Only downside is maybe a belt clip would be nice when working in a ladder but aside from that this thing great. I wanted one with less bulk and they had previously made a super limited quantity of aprons with no front pouches but full of "molle" or what ever they call it. I ordered a 3" magnetic panel, a drill holster, and another pick for pliers. I had since found their multi tool pouch that looks like it would hold an apron plane perfectly. Haven't ordered that though. So far initial impressions are very good. I really want to try and keep the dust off of my clothes and this should help a lot. I also saw the table saw but I think it was a different model because the fence wasn't rack and pinion. Also had some Menards rebates to spend. Wasn't really wanting/needing anything from Menards and was pleasantly surprised to find Menards sells Knipex. I figured why not and made the plunge into my first Knipex purchase. I wanted some nail pullers because I didn't have any and got myself a Concrete nipper. I hope this will work. I also got a 10 in water pump plier. I guess they call it the Cobra but I call it the Penguin haha. Not sure what I will use it for but I have heard lots of great things about it. The last thing I needed is another drill, but at $54 each, it was worth it for the batteries (especially as I had no compact M18 batteries); this also gives me my first Milwaukee drills, so along with the One Key impact driver I don't have to bring along Yellow or Orange tools if I'm primarily using the Sawzall or circular saw. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I stepped on a bolt from where an old toilet waste drain was and it went through my shoe into my foot. Doctor said I didn't need a shot. I went to the doctor because my wife wanted me to go. To keep her happy, I told her I'd go the next day if it didn't look better in the morning. And it didn't; the next day it looked kind of gross, actually, and it bled for two and a half days before it finally closed up. So I had to keep my promise and go. Unfortunately free saw does not come with free case, and I like all my power tools to have cases. Keeps things together. I asked Skilsaw if a case was available and they offered to sell me a canvas bag. No thanks. If I wanted a canvas bag I'd go to the grocery store. So, what to do? Make one! This turned out pretty much as I intended. That’s good to know. I’ve been thinking of picking up that saw even though I have a One-Key Sawzall since it’s only $79 and I’m curious enough to try it. It also would give me a recip saw that could be loaned to trustworthy family but cheap enough for them to replace if something goes wrong. jtkendall Posted May 21, 2018 Report Share Posted May 21, 2018 Sold both the 1/2" High Torque and 3/8" Milwaukee Impact Wrenches since the new M12's have been announced and I figured it would be easier to sell them before the M12's come out. Since I keep sockets in the car for tire changes and the high torque used to live there I picked up a Gearwrench 15" breaker bar until the M12 comes out. I've been meaning to pick up some of these for a while to keep in the car all the time since I move the TSTAK with the impact out to charge batteries. I went with the 15" instead of the 24" since it can fit in a TSTAK and will probably make it's way into the ratchet box if I decide to pickup a 24" for each car. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
