Conductor562
While everyone else is bitching about the Pipeline coming through town, I’m buying the unused $500+ 3/4” Proto torque wrench they pawned for $125 😉 Couple months they’ll pawn all kinds of high dollar shit that I’ll be able to pick up for peanuts

The pawn shop surely made 60-100% on that...I've bought Flukes, Gedore, Milwaukee, Snap On, etc for super cheap. Heck, I bought my router table and two old routers for like $20. I don't think I would have carried them to a store for $20, let alone the $10 they probably got for them. Same thing with FB marketplace, people listing single items for under $5. If someone posted a free $5 bill a block from my house I wouldn't bother, it's not worth giving out my contact info and driving somewhere for $5. Hope you keep scoring big. Glad to see you back on the forum!

Glad to see you back on the forum! The pawn shops around here are hit or miss. I’m one of those guys that stops by once a month and only bites on the real gems. They had this thing marked $300. I offered $125 and they didn’t even argue. I don’t need to torque anything over 150 ft-lb often enough to ever justify paying anything in the same universe as retail, but it comes up often enough for it to be worth having one. They had a 1200 ft-lb model they use to torque roof bolts in the mines, but that just seemed to be a little overkill 😂

I have an older version where the arms had actual rollers on them. When cutting longer boards its a pain to get them adjusted so the board sits flat on the saw due to flex in the arms. I usually use additional roller stands when cutting long boards with my dewalt stand.

It’s what my FlexVolt sits on but I’d be tempted to get a 723 if I had to do it all over again. It was free with my FlexVolt saw though so I can’t complain too much.

Yeah, it seems decent, I don’t like that the extensions aren’t rollers and my DW734 doesn’t fit on it but it will by golly..it will.

My 735 is mounted on one with the rollers and all it takes to make it look like it belongs is a piece of Unistrut/ Kentdorf (available at Home Depot for @ $20) and a couple of bolts and spring nuts. Throw in a little black spray paint and poof it looks like a factory kit.

Guess I didn’t pay close enough attention. Mine has the rollers, but I assumed that was mostly because it is also billed as a planer stand. Yeah that’s exactly why I bought mine but apparently the first gen had them and then the next two models didn’t. Not sure why. Mine are rounded with an attached flat piece but they don’t roll. Solid frame though, I like it a lot, just a couple of design issues I was not aware of

Mine only moves around the shop, but for that it’s been great. Not much more of a footprint than the folding stand and no set up/take down at all.

fm2176
Found this earlier and figured I couldn't pass for the new 4Ah batteries and DCD996. I have one of these drills but purchased it well used from a pawn shop. Also have a DCD995, but for the price of the batteries alone I figured it to be a good buy. The bit and holder is a Makita I just used for my truck's air filter housing. With this drill I really think I'm set. I move into the new house on Tuesday and will start setting things up.
Bremon
That 996 is a beauty, you’ll love it. Pretty proud of myself; sold my brushed, lightly used 3/8 M12 ratchet a few weeks ago, snagged a deal on a new Fuel 3/8 ratchet for half price. Upgrade cost me about $20 USD lol.

dwasifar
I didn't exactly buy it today, but I got this Delta 12" sliding compound miter saw: This uses articulating arms rather than rails, like the Bosch, so it can sit close to a wall. That's perfect to build into a miter station: I'm rather happy with how that turned out. I have construction pictures but I'll refrain unless anyone is interested.

How’s the dust collection on that beast? I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Also nice miter station.
