What tools did you buy today?

I've bought a heap of tools lately, but this hammer was on my wish list for the longest: Estwing 15 oz Ultra hammer (short ~350mm version).

I needed good quality locking pliers for welding. I wanted Knipex but saw these Stanley Fatmax ones so I thought I'd take a gamble. Very, very impressed! Seriously. I have both Grip-on and Knipex locking pliers already. These feel just as smooth, solid, and as well made as my Grip-on! Not at all sloppy. I really like them.

Got my freak from Bosch today. Brushoess w a 6.3amp core battery. Battery size comparison.

The one I am receiving is supposed to arrive on Monday. Gonna give it to a coworker who I think could use it. His Milwaukee isn't working and his DeWALT is a bit old (DW056 impact driver).

Not power tools, but I picked up a couple of the new Ridgid clear lid organizers.  There are two double length bins with slide-in dividers to section them into thirds, while the other eight bins seem to be the same as the older organizer/small box.  Increasing the modularity even more is the fact that there are rails molded in that should work with the older box's slide-in dividers.

BR800x...so hard to find.....sooooo sweet!

Awesome - I can't even find a Stihl deal around here that has one in stock.  What did that bad boy end up costing, if I may ask? (If it's not in stock, the Stihl dealers don't even list the price on their websites)

My first Lufkin tape. I'm quite impressed. Build quality feels great. The blade is a little too curved compared to other tapes I have, but I guess that's where the 3.5m standout comes from. Blade printing is not a good as a Japanese tape but better than the Stanley tapes I own.

The lock switch is great on this. Very easy to use. Just like rocking a light switch as opposed to sliding it. I like it.

And....great to buy an Australian made tool! The only Aussie tool I own.

Went to Home Depot with plans to buy the M12 1/4" ratchet with free 2.0 battery.  That doesn't qualify for the promo (3/8" and Fuel 3/8" and 1/2" do, however), so I ended up with the Packout combo I never planned to buy.  Also added the low profile organizer.  Here are a few pics next to the ToughSystem and Ridgid combos with organizers, to include the layout of each organizer:

Note the height of the Packout handle compared to the other two, allowing for an extra box if needed; overall not too bad, but we'll see if it's worth twice the holiday price of the other two.

wow those were amazing finds. Was it just your store?
They might be discounted elsewhere. These were at my local store. They have been in the rafters by the air compressor tools for I don't know how long. Since they were so far away from the lawn and garden it is probably why it got to 01. Status.
