JerryNY Posted December 23, 2015 Report Share Posted December 23, 2015 Saw it last Thursday. My gf is a bigger geek than I am about it and wore an R2D2 dress lol. Without going into to many specifics and spoilers I liked it quite a bit. The biggest complaints seem to be they recycled many many themes but I think that was entirely intentional to get the franchise back on track. It was orders of magnitude better than the prequels and up there in feel to to the originals. It "feels" like a Star Wars movie which I guess is the best compliment you could make. There are some nits to pick but overall the good far outweighs the bad. The pacing is excellent imho and the effects look good without being too CGI-ish like the prequels.
