DamianD
Hey guys, well I didnt get any tools this Christmas but I did get a little cash and some gift cards. Im really wanting to get a nice quite compressor and always loved the jc10 rolair. Ill only be using this to nail in trim and occasionally filling a tire. Where can I find the best deal on one of these new? And is this something you would consider buying used on craigslist or something??
DamianD
OR what are your thoughts on a California Air Tools 1610A. Little cheaper in price, similar product.
ChrisK
Sorry Damian, I've got the JC10 and absolutely love the little guy. Beats the crud out of my Craftsman I got rid of. I recall seeing it around Black Friday for around 220 but right now it's 240 everywhere. Worth every penny if you need one though.
regopit
I do own the JC-10 and it is very nice but a friebd that i work with some times has the California Air Tools 1610A it is also very nice. In my honest opinion you can't go wrong with either one.
Santi_78342
I also have a JC10. Love it. I personally have never seen it below the $240 price tag.
John Glassey
I have to agree the Rolair jc10 is very nice and super quite. $239 and free shipping at the toolnut. I also have the California air 10020, a little bigger and a little loader then the jc10-60 decibels vs 70 for the CA 10020. $292. At Home Depot. If cost is a big factor you might want to consider th Rolair air buddy, $159. Good luck.

DR99
The Husky air buddy is a version of a CAT compressor. Its a bit cheaper than the other brands. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-4-6-Gal-Portable-Electric-Air-Compressor-4610A/205532432

ChrisK
That Husky actually looks pretty decent Jason. Love my Rolair but I would have gotten that over the piece of crap Craftsman I had any day.
