aherrin Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 I am looking to upgrade my table saw. I am a weekend warrior and fine from a fine furniture maker. I have found a used Delta 34-670 table saw at a good price. Can anyone give me more information about this saw, and if would be a good saw for weekend projects to get started? Quote
DR99 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 I just googled around really quick cause I personally have no idea what the saw even looks like. It wasn't impressed from what I read though. It all depends how cheap your getting the saw for though. Quote
comp56 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 hmm if it is original The Delta 34-670 has a universal motor, which are loud, the saw itself is pretty small, and most likely not that great of a fence. possibly better off with an induction motor... Quote
rcarnes911 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 Here is a nice delta I don't think I would pay as much as he wants but damn is it nice http://fresno.craigslist.org/tls/5367656022.htmlSent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk 1 Quote
comp56 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 and I have $600 sheets of plywood you can cut on it too....wow that is a nice saw but wouldn't want to get it dusty...lol Quote
rcarnes911 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 Lol, so true it would have to go in my living room and my wife would probably get mad when I pulled out one of her curio cabinets Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk Quote
comp56 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 I'd have my TV on it, would make a great entertainment stand....lol Quote
rcarnes911 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 I don't think I could risk the TV scratching it Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk Quote
aherrin Posted January 5, 2016 Author Report Posted January 5, 2016 He is only asking $100 on craigslist. It is all original, but it appears to have been taken care of and nothing is missing or broken. No rust on table. Of course I will look it over more closely than the pics show. Quote

rcarnes911 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 I would avoid the 34-670 from what I have been reading it is easy to burn out the jet engine on it Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk Quote
