Fazzman
gotta use a scrub brush or something bud. heck id toss it in a beadblast cabinet and then repaint it,if you had that option. Get zep purple cleaner, that stuff will eat off nearly anything, make sure you wear gloves its corrosive.

KnarlyCarl
Or .... oven cleaner! That stuff will curl your nosehairs but man does it eat the dirt and grime off a lot of different surfaces. Spray it up in your bathtub, let it sit for 10 minutes then rinse offSent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
JimboS1ice
Try the nylon brush for rotary tools.

Use that with a stiff scrub brush after letting it sit for at least 10 minutes. Or you can try and use a scotch brite pad. If that don't work, then a trip to,the store for replacements. Good luck. JerryNY
I really like Tub O Towels for cleaning any greasy surface in the house.Wonder Works Tub O Towels Heavy-Duty 10" x 12" Size Multi-Surface Cleaning Wipes, 90 Count Per Canister https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00022W4ZU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_KZBOwbEPTDXFFThey are very tough but thin enough and you can push them through the slats and pull back and forth. Also maybe you could unscrew the vent and put it in the dishwasher?
WigWagWorkshop
Yup, I vote for Purple Power! I buy the stuff by the gallon lol. I use it to strip the chrome parts that come in my model kits, since it usually looks like crap. The ol' lady loves the stuff also, she uses it all the time. Another thing that may work is "easy-off" oven cleaner.
