How to Safely Store Circular Saw Blades.

I was carrying a bunch of tools in a soft sided bag recently and I foolishly left the circular saw blades on the inside edge of the bag and the pressure from the tools inside caused the teeth to stick out. The cut on my leg is testament to the mistake that was. I am wondering how one can store circular saw blades safely. My reciprocating saw blades came with a nice case, but circular saw blade cases do not appear to be widely available.

For all my blades I buy storage cases to keep them in. Just recently I picked up one wide enough for my 7 1/4" blades I just need to cut the dividers out. I'll post some picks when I get around to it.

Yeah I agree, too bad they want so much just to ship it  cardboard or pipe wrap around the diameter of blade would be cheapest method.

Boxes that bandsaw blades come in could work with a little modification.

Here's one for up to 7 1/4 blades. $11

CMT 03.01.0206 Saw Blade Case Up to 7-1/4-Inch, Orange https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F99L3AS/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_hEm3wb1C9CZHG

The case that came with my Porter Cable circular saw has a built in blade storage spot so ive never looked at these.

Those look great. Too bad they are only for 10" and 12" blades. Mine are 6 1/2".

I think the links can be removed to fit different size blades

I like those a lot Comp, I think those would be perfect for people who own big saws. But come on, they can't come out with a 7 and 1/4 blade model? Most people don't own 10 inch circ saws.

The 10 inch could be for table or miter saws too

I rigged something up on the inside of my tool chest. Its a small bolt with a washer and a nut securing it to the box from outside. On the inside, the blades go on the bolt and one of the cheap packages that the blades come in goes on after the blades. Then a washer and nut to keep everything in place. This took about 1 minute to do and it works for me. Ill post a picture hopefully tomorrow.
