Whats that?

It's an elusive concept, some day I have it figured out and some days it has given up and ran off, leaving me alone standing with an open wallet at the tool store like a fool. It seems to me that I only have self control visit me after buying a proto pipe wrench that I really can't afford.

Mine was bone dry too. Gonna take it part and compare it to my snap-on 80.

Please post comparison pics, I haven't seen the inside on a Snap-on 80. I'll post the inside of the 120XP with this stubby probably tomorrow.

That little thing was a pain in the butt to get that retaining clip back in. The Gearwrench uses real retaining rings.

Thought it was just me, although I figured it out faster than the fine tooth protos I got those are pretty interesting to take apart.

I'm not into vehicle mechanical, nor am I Conductor, a machinist, or an engineer, but a bare spot of metal doesn't sound right.

Nice job looking into that jimbo, good thing you got this forum to advise you to tear it down and superlube it!
