Rtorres092382
I have the other 20V vac but I Saw this as a great tool to vacuum my stairs with, it sure beats having to lug around my large vac. Curious to hear if anyone would be interested in this who also has the other 20V vac and what they'd use this new one for.

Paul_Delahaye
bit of a missed opportunity that that hose does not have an air-lock connector on the end so you can easily connect it to the tools. Airlock is so the way ahead. I'm constantly feel at the moment that Dewalt are taking ages to release tools, and every time they do release one I like, I feel like there is a very small oversight which would not massively increase the cost of the tool from a manufacturing point of view, I wonder if this could be modified to accept airlock?

Interesting observation. I also don't know what airlock is for vacuums. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
The.Handyman
And it took this long to release a tool that has been out for ages in 18V with little to no important changes other than marketing lingo. They could have easily just changed the battery connection on the hold tool years ago and had this available.
Mr. Yellow
This doesn't need Airlock. I think it's too small to hook it up to a tool. Not designed for such purpose. If you want you can put a DWV9000 airlock adapter on the end of the hose. It's easily changed. However, you won't be able to connect the hose back onto the front of the tool if you do this. Sure it's not equivalent to a big dust extractor but it helps out a lot and at the time there weren't many cordless options. After taking this long to update I'd expect them to do a bit more than swap the battery.
Hugh Jass
Other than HEPA, what if any changes to the older version? On that note of HEPA...did I read it right that it's a WASHABLE HEPA?!!! I didn't know that existed.
