Conductor562
I know everyone gets their tools at several different places, but if you're looking to buy a new tool where is the first place you go look? Online or Brick & Mortar, doesn't matter, just curious how everyone else shops for tools.
PutnamEco
I live out in the sticks. So online is really my only option for a lot of things. I usually check with Harry Epstein first then Google through the Shopping tab. End up getting a lot of tools through Amazon. I do go factory direct for some things though, especially bigger items, like stationary tools.
Conductor562
For me it really depends on what type of tool I'm looking for. I seem to shop around a little more for power tools than I do hand tools. Shopping around for hand tools might save you $3-$5 where shopping around for power tools might save you $20+. For hand tools I always check a couple of sites I know deals in whatever brand I'm looking for then I check eBay. For power tools I might check 5 or 6 sites plus eBay. Toolking.com, toolsplus.com, Ohiopowertool.com, CPOMilwaukee.com, and any other site I stumble upon on google. CPO has a site for about all the major manufacturers. I might shop around for a week for power tools. I have to admit I enjoy it.
