[Can anybody tell me what bit this is]

i found a Rigid pipe reamer that kind of looks like the spire in the video. It's about 6 inches long and about 2 3/16th inches at the base. I'm beginning to think that it was machined after all and isn't a tool itself.

..or if it's even a bit. I'm interested in building a sculpture like the one in this video. I think that the conical structure rising from the black fluid is a large drilling or boring bit but I can't find anything like it online. Does anybody know what kind of bit that is and where to find one? Or if this isn't the appropriate forum to ask this in could you please point me to a place that is?
