  1. I have owned my 18v drill and saws all for about a year now and love them both. Excellent run time, and awe-inspiring power! They are expensive, I won't lie, but I am a firm believer in that with power tools, you get what you pay for.

I am looking for the 18v work light that panasonic makes too. If anyone knows where I can find one-not a whole combo kit- please let me know @ davagedes@hotmail.com

    Thanks!

I just checked ebay and searched for "panasonic drill" and it pulled up 45 items.

I would definitely check that out, especially if you want a good deal. Just make sure that the seller has a good feedback rating %.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Lithium batteries are pretty straight forward. Yes some of the older batteries had problems, but as techology has gotten better, we see less defects. I will store them in a c ool dry place and not leave them in the heat or cold for long periods of time. You know when you can not recharge them when they don't work in the tool anymore.

I was actually told by someone that when a lithium battery has pretty much reached the end of its life span (the point when it can no longer hold a charge for very long, if at all), that you can actually put the battery in the freezer, and it will bring back some of its power retention.

Is there any truth at all to this?
