  1. I am suprised how quick this goes through plywood. I know its just plywood, but it still went through rather quick. I would like to see it go through some hardwood to. I like the view on the cutting gaurd to show how strong that is. This is very important. Overall good review my friends.

  2. Welcome brian,

Yeah I have been on the forum for a while now. I love it also as it is just power tools. Nice place to come. It seems like it is starting to grow. I think the person running the forum just needs to get the word out. I know its hard, but I am starting to see them around more. Good to have you here.

  3. I have to say I love Dewalt power tools along with Milwaukee Tools, but I have to say I justed added Craftsman to the bunch. I received a Craftsman 19.2 volt a couple of years ago as a gift. I was going to use this as my junk drill around the house. For the past couple of years I have left it outside in the rain, left the tool on the hot roof and out in the cold in winter time. Never really gave it much thought that it has worked through all that until this weekend. We got a lot of rain this weekend and my basement flooded. I came home and found a lot of my stuff floating in the water in the basement. Well it was only about two inches, but enough to ruin my stuff. I looked down and saw the drill laying in the water pretty much covered. Didn't think twice about it and picked it up on put it on the counter. About two mintues later, not thinking it was just in the water and started using it. A couple mintues later my buddy brought it to my attention that drill was sitting on the water for the past 8 hours. It was then I realized that everything this drill has been through over the years. Just though it was an interesting experien ce for someone who is a loyal fan of Dewalt and Milwuakee.

  4. Hey Dewwalt is stilled owned by an American Company. We went to a tool show in Flordia a month ago and it was amazing. Milwaukee is part of TECHTRONIC which owns Roybi and Black and Decker owns Dewalt. At this show you can see that Milwaukee didn't want to be associated with TECHTRONIC and Dewalt didn't want to be accosictaed with B&D. Just an observation.

  5. That would be great. I know that admin hasn't responded lately because he was away or out of town due to some family problems. He asked a couple of us to watch over the forum and we have been lacking a little lately. Anyways that would be a great idea. I am not sure if other forums will allow you to do that. Also we emailed the admin about your help and would like to get you in our little group. Its pretty neat. Before he left he was going to get your information, so if he hasn't done that yet, I am sure he will when he gets back.

  6. I will put a poll up, but I think you have to be registered to vote. We will see

As you know I love the site and have been a big fan from the time I saw it. As with our member group here. What would you think about adding a page for product testing or users experiences? I am sure time is limited on your site, but I would be willing to help out as I know toolman would also. I am sure others would be willing to help out get it started. I know we could all take our current tools that we use and rate them.

Also I know Milwaukee and other tool companies will lend to people who are going to be testing them either in the field or at home. These companies will mail the tools to you and you just have to return them after testing.

You can either have a separate section where people write a short article about their experience or have them just rate them or a combination of both. I am not talking about a lab test. I was thinking more along the lines of user’s experience, such as power balance, feel durability etc.

If anyone is interested, leave a post

I know you have my email, so if this is something you would like to start email me and I will talk with toolman.

  7. I was wondering if anyone knows what is happeing to dewalt tools. I have noticed that Home, at least by me, no longer carry the variety of dewalt tools as they did a couple of months ago. Are they going out of business or something.
