Can you take a picture of the otherside and the motor where the cord is coming out of. I have a guy who might know what this is. I can print this out and take it to him. Don't worry, you don't have to pay. I just like trying to figure these things out.

Dude you guys must have a group doing this. This is the second one I have seen today. I answered that one, so I guess I have to answer yours. What are you designing or doing? My brother went to the same school and loved it. Sounds like a fun school.

Here is the trick. Don't use a wheel, use a cup. A wheel is flat and that is why you are getting rough concrete and can see the marks. A diamond cup has either one band or two bands of cutting power. They come in different sizes and shapes. They are designed for that purpose you are talking about. Will give it a perfect finish when you are done, even for a beginer.

Yeah, I agree. I would save my money unless you will be moving the saw around a lot.

Someone emailed me this the other day. Its a table saw that protects and automatically stops if your finger hits the blade. Looks extremely cool. Its called sawstop. You can see the video at there website. http://www.sawstop.com/index.htm

Personally I like railroad ties. Everytime I see the blocks, they are always cracked. I know I am not much help, but thats just my opinion.

I had the same problem. I ended up taking a flat head and a hammer. I put the flat head right below the chuck and banged on it to move it down. I then had the take a vice and pull the bit out. I ended up putting some lub in the sleeve and never had a problem again. I think something must have gotten stuck in there.

I think Milwaukee is still good as of now, but who knows. I am going to buy the Milwaukee corded drill next week.
I know my HD is selling their V28 for $719. I am going to wait a little bit and hope they come down in price a little.
Hey usa did you visit your HD this last few days? If so did you see the price of your MIlwaukee price went sky high? My HD was selling them for just under $700 not they are selling them for $849.00!
Wow that is amazing. I wounder why the price is so high. I will have to swing by my local HD and see what price they are selling them for.

I agree with carp on everything. I have a fixed router and probably would suggest a plunge. There has abeen a couple of times I wish I had one. Again perosannly I really like the Porter Cable router and for a first time user or occasional user, your really not going to save a lot by going with a no name

I think that is a good choice esp because you will not be using it everyday. I am waiting to buy the v28 also and I use tools everyday. I am going to stick with my old tools. They still work, but I would rather wait for the price to come down.

I bought a blade a long time ago for my band saw for cutting metal. At the time it was expensive. I am sure now the prices have come down. I am in the same position and only cut metal once in a while. I have never had a problem with my band saw. just take it slow becuase an inch is pretty thick. Just make sure it doesn't get to hot.

You won't go wrong on either nailer. Personally I would go with which ever one is on sale. I have used both and like both of them. I know this probably doesn't help, but I like both of them. We use them on the jobs and haven't seen a complaint with either.

I agree with you. I love that drill. I have a partner who has the drill and use it all the time. Very nice drill.

They are both used for concrete. A hammer drill has a clutch that makes the drill jab up and down, while a rotary hammer has a piston and has a more powerful punch into the concrete than a hammer drill. Its like a yugo and a Porche. They will both get you to point be, but the porche while do it quicker.

Great idea. Box looks practical and strong. I told a client about the box today and he is going to check it out. He had his screws all over the place.
