  1. I love how it looks, but I don't think that would hold up to a Michigan winter. Between the cold and frost heaves it would be destroyed in a few seasons.

its a natural stone not a cement based product so I'm not sure about the frost damage. we don't get as cold in the uk but I'm sure it would hold up ok

  2. Nice decking job! What do you think of the irwin evo saw you have there? I bought one when they first came out and couldn't get used to it.Ended up buying another this wknd gone and I still dont like them..usless if you need to square a piece of 2x1

cheers mate. i don't mind the irwin evo saw its great for just rough cutting a load of studs or rafters. but yeah crap for marking a 90 or 45 cut. takes time getting use to the shape and design i guess

  3. That does look really cool. I bet all of the cuts were a pain in the ass though. It does suck when you have some kind of drain or something that takes away from the aesthetics of the project.

yeah they can be a pain it takes about an hour from start to finish. but your right it does really spoil a job we fit these as standard for the customer free of charge. its good to take pride in your work and look at it as if it was at your own home.

  4. Cool.....great job!  I have only ever seen the round ones that are flush with the surface of the street.

here in the uk they are very popular. there are drain covers in nearly every drive or garden in the uk. they are ugly and its nice to be able to hide them like this. you can put anything in them to match.

  5. I really like that patio job it almost looks like tile. Never seen anything like that in the states before its mostly brick pavers in the midwest.

they do a tile version of this to for in the home. these are 30mm thick but looks like a tiled floor for the garden. we mostly use block pavers for driveways in the uk not for patios. post-48432-0-45122200-1400925511_thumb.j post-48432-0-35198500-1400925529_thumb.j
