  1. Well the fuel 6 1/2 is a beast and realistically you will be cutting 2by material most of the time which it does with ease so the extra money for the 7 1/4 and the fact the the blade is on the right side is a pain if your right handed and use to using a worm drive. The fact the you can get blades cheaper for 7 1/4 is a small factor but the compact size of the 6 1/2 makes it even out. Also if you are already building a milwaukee too line then i would say go with the 2730-22 cause then you get the charger and the two 4.0s and you can buy it for around 369.99 definately worth every penny.

M18 fuel 6 1/2 with a diablo blade and 4.0 will always be pleased especially if you in a roof or remote location.

I feel like they make up for it with massive gouging on other things. The Milwaukee sorter case (clear top) jumped to $50 last time I looked and the Ridgid tough cases went to $60, $90, $130. I was gonna get the biggie but not at that price. Our dollar has to stop sucking as I'm not seeing any benefit to it at all.

yeah really the small things have jumped up in price and its just a waste of money to buy anything from the states but still you can get the odd crazy deal at bc fastners  or the random small tool stores around usually milwaukee has all there deals around march and april so start saving and start checking every couple days at your local stores

  3. i dont avoid other tool brand when it come to tools i do my research and figure out which is the best. i have mostly milwaukee cordless tools because i started into the m18 and m12 lines and have had no reason to change over I LOVE MY RED TOOLS. I have bosch Table saw, Bosch laminate trimmer and other random tools from the varying brands but i just want milwaukee to update their older corded and pneumatic tools to keep up with the rest of their competitors.

I know TTI has ridgid and ryobi going nuts with their nailers and compressors and more carpentry based tools so why not step it up a notch and bring milwaukee name back onto the rough carpentry market  cause now when ur on a site framing the only red you see is the sawzalls and the rest is conquered by hitachi paslode Skil dewalt, nailers and saws.

  4. Hi i am a carpenter by trade and i love my milwaukee tools and i swear by them i just want them to branch out alittle more. Right now MILWAUKEE core trades are electricians and plumbers hvac. which is fine i just want them to re establish themselves into the carpentry/framing section.

I NEED THEIR DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION to make the tools i use everyday as great as i know they can. they have their old worm drive saws, framing nailers, roofing nailers, brad nailers, staplers, routers , belt sanders etc but i dont know about the states but i cant get anything like that up here in the great white north and i know it is all outdated. So i am hoping thats milwaukee puts some time in and makes some NEW AND IMPROVED.

    Wish List

     COIL/ STICK FRAMING NAILERS

    ROOFING NAILER

    PLANER

    NEW ROUTER

    NEW MINI ROUTER/TRIMER

    STAPLE GUNS/ BRAD NAILERS

BASICALLY I WANT ALL NEW WOODWORKING TOOLS PLEASE AND THANKYOU.

Do you guys think this will ever happen and if ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THE OLD PNEUMATIC MILWAUKEE TOOLS HOW ARE THEY CAUSE IF THEY ARE WORTH IT I CAN MAKE A TRIP SOUTH OF THE BORDER TO GET THEM????

  5. Well up here in the great white north that saw is one of milwaukee's best selling products at home depot and any milwaukee service center can easily fix them or has the parts. the accuracy of the digital is great but it also has old school marking for you to go by and the stand it comes with is easily to set up and take down. only thing is its a big saw so it takes up space and is fairly heavy. All my experience has been great i love this saw but hoping they come up with a new version sometime in 2015

  6. the only thing that sucks is that i normally use a wormdrive when working and the blade is on the left side and i am right handed so i have perfect veiw of the blade all the time and the 6 1/2 fuel circular saw is the same way which i love but now they changed it so it back on the right side like a regular sidewinder gonna take a while getting useto it if i end up using it often!!

they should just make it a option which side u want the blade on would be fairly easy for them and also better for the customer!!!

  7. Milwaukee also has the new high speed charger for the m12 and m18 battery 3 of each

and chargers 3 at at time

the old charger takes 360 minutes to charge 6  3ah batteries

the new one takes 72minutes to charge  6 3ah batteries

they definately can charge the bigger batteries faster and more effeciently if they can do that

they probably just holding out on us until the 5ah and 6ah are more popular

  8. they are definitely available so they should be shipped out now hopefully u get them asap

but i am sure they are worth the wait cause up here in canada we wait twice as long as the states and its always worth it

  9. I am in the market for a new jig saw and i have the m18 line already i am a milwaukee nut. so i am obviously getting a milwaukee one but i was wondering do you guys think i should wait and hope they come out with a FUEL version in the next year or should i just buy it now.

I can buy it this week for 199.99 plus tax

with two 4amp hour batteries and the new dual charger that comes with the newer sets? should i do it ?

  10.  buy 25ft milwaukee tape measure get a 16ft free

buy milwaukee chop saw get stand and free m12 drill driver

and alot of regular m12 and m18 brushed tools on clearance for the new brushless stuff

in canada right now mabe states to not to sure but still some good deals for a big box store

  11. right now i can but m12 fuel kit with impact and hammerdrill 2.0 battery and 4.0 battery 259.00

or m18 fuel hamer and impact with 2 4.0 batterys for 299.99  because trade in promotion.

i have the m18 fuel kit  now just want the m12 fuel to add to the line up

its nice to have the option to use smaller

  12. it would be awsome for them to come out with a mechanics tool box and tool box for the construction trades. also why hasnt anyone come out with a truck accessory like something that can be mounted into a pickup or van or something i know there are boxes and caps etc i just think a tool company would make something with better ergonomics and accessibility and any advertisement in good advertisement soo having a milwaukee name on a tool chest mounted in my truck lots of people would see that but we can all wait and see whats happening next

  13. yeah also at a couple stores if u buy a fuel drill kit or impact kit u can chose a free m18 fuel sawzall grinder or cirular saw or a 4.0 battery or a led light some killer deals on milwaukee right now dont know why but i love it

  14. so milwaukee is having a trade in event trade old 18volt (OLD DEWALT FOUND IN DADS GARAGE) and get 100$ off just ordered my NEW FUEL IMPACT THANKS FOR THE HELP WITH MAKING MANY DECISION EASIER ILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT ALL FAIRS OUT. CHANCES ARE IT WILL BE KILLER. PUMPED

    NEXT ON LIST M18FUEL GRINDER

  15. i watched the review very informative also watched the TIA review i found it seems like its at the top of its class and only real comparison is the IR but i already have the m18 fuel platform so ill be replacing the ole"snapon with this new red beast.

any help in the $$$$ best price that i can get it for.

Im in the same field as u brotha... Been wanting to pull the trigger since milwaukee is awesome and cheaper then the tool truck brands... Im waiting tk see the tool fight between the fuel and the i/r that should give u a even better idea of how powerful and useful this gun is.

FRANKIE if you watch the coptool review using the proper machine to test the torque it shows the

are exactly identical with the torque so if u already have milwaukee toolsor plan on expanding your tool box i think milwaukee is the way to go and

    GM TRUCKS ALL THE WAY!!!
