  1. Hey guys I’m hoping someone can help me out here. I have a Makita 18v drill XFD01 that will not work in reverse. The drill works in forward without any issues and when it is switched to reverse only the light lights up. I tried blowing out the switch and brushing all the dust and dirt out but still no luck.

  2. Ok so I am looking to get a random orbital sander and have pretty much decided to go with the Bosch ROS20VS. I noticed Bosch also has another kit ROS20VSK but it looks to be the same sander but that it comes with a hard case instead of a bag. Is this the only difference? I have also looked at the Ridgid, DeWalt and Porter Cable. Any thoughts?

  3. Yeah I think you would be fine with an impact driver. I have the Milwaukee 2656-80 and it does fine. Like others said tightening some of the bolts should be done with a ratchet or torque wrench. But my impact has no problem taking off lug nuts on a Jeep, however for constantly doing things like that you should have an impact wrench.

  5. What do you guys think on the Milwaukee grinder. I have heard great things but mostly about the fuel. The main con I have heard about was them eating the battery but I will mainly be using it short spurts however I do not have any XC batteries just 1.5 ah. I don't really want to spend $275 on the fuel with a 4.0ah so do you think I could run it on my compacts

  6. Fazzman. I was looking at some impact sockets and a few other little things like one of their hacksaws and bolt cutters. Is there anything you recommend getting or not getting? Like you said it's like harbor freight there are a lot of great things there and there are also some I would just not buy.

  7. Alright so I personally don't have much experience with tekton gear however my brother has the snap ring pliers and I love them. Their stuff to me looks a lot like the tools at Harbor Freight so I am just wondering what you guys think of them as a company and if they have decent quality tools. I have seen the reviews on Amazon and they get great ratings. Also the guys at TIA did a video about them and seemed to like them.

  8. Thanks guys. Also I want to get my grandfather a 12v impact and drill combo and was wondering what some of your recommendations would be. He mostly does just some little DIY projects or hobbies and occasionally some little work around the house. I have mainly looked at the Ridgid and milwaukee sets but I am open to any suggestions on what a good set would be. Thanks
