I have 12. Sadly, this hasn't happened to mine, yet.
I'll keep my fingers crossed! -
Love the setup! How long did it take you with the foam?
I won't lie to you, it's not quick. It's really not all that bad, but if you want to do a good job, you take your time.
Awesome setups and not just because it's dewalt.
Thanks!

yes I am from maine
Nice. I live in Portland.

I'll tell you what, though...
Kaizen foam really makes the difference with the DS250 drawer units.
I don't know how I ever lived without it... -
How do you like the those Klein look alike screwdrivers??
I actually just got the vinyl grip set a couple days ago. Haven't had a chance to use them, yet.
They feel nice, though.
-
Got my screwdrivers situated...
The empty space will soon be filled by the DeWalt Insulated Vinyl Grip Screwdriver Set.

You're not worried about leaving your batteries on the charger after there done charging?? On nicads I've had batteries die and battery life shorten drastically
*Supposedly* this isn't an issue with the lithium ion batteries. Though, I've heard people swear both ways.

It looks really good nice work What's Rockler? lol
My OCD is so bad when it comes to toolboxes and how things are placed in the drawers :/
Rockler is a woodworking supply store. I assumed it was a chain, but, it's possible it's a regional thing.
I go there a lot, for jigs, and such. They are the only place I could find, locally, that carried the Kaizen foam, in stock.

I built custom racks, with 1" square steel tubing, like a few guys I've seen on here.
I drilled about 65 holes into each piece of tubing, which took next to forever, but it was fully worth it.
My drill press sure got a workout, haha.
I should have pics of my preliminary set up tomorrow. I know I'll have to tweak a few things around, but, the bulk of the layout should prove viable. -
I have this ladder, too.
It's awesome. -
Honestly, I bought it mostly because it said DeWalt on the side...
But, I do like it! I mostly use it to open the packages of other DeWalt stuff I get from Amazon. Haha.- 1

Picked up the 12oz. hammer today. One of the last hammers I need to round out my set.
Got to thinking, though...
Where is DeWalt at with ball pien hammers, mallets, deadblows, etc.?
I can find anything in the US. Is there anything in Europe?

@Turner85 - I used a computer.
@rees332 - Very nice collection, my wife told me she prefers Milwaukee tool colors... >_>
Your wife has questionable taste in tools. I can recommend a good divorce attorney.
=P

I was thinking about snagging the 20v multitool. I bought the corded version as soon as it came out. Love it, but the cord always manages to be inconveniently in the way. How is the weight on the cordless? I imagined it being back heavy, in comparison.

A start to my Dewalt collection
Hey Logan!
Noticed your shelf is LLBean branded... Are you local (Maine)?
-
I've been looking for a decent one for a while. Every once in a while, I'd see one listed on a yard sale group on Facebook, or at a yard sale. But, every one I found was beat to hell.
Hope you have better luck with yours. I'm jealous, if you found a good one!
I really need a belt sander, but I refuse to go off my brand. Haha. -
My only real gripe, is that it slides opens to the back. Makes it impossible to use if it's against a wall. I like to keep my toolboxes out of the way. But, this one has to be well away from anything behind it.

I ended up getting it for $40. Not a bad find. It had fair reviews from what I found. Just something to add to my black and yellow collection.
I was actually reading a lot of reviews lately, that said people were burning up motors pretty quickly, in the old models.
Kind of why I'm willing to wait for a new model.
-
You bleed Black and Yellow my friend, lol
True.
Wow. I don't need that in my life....I need this in my life
Why limit yourself? I'll take both.

I broke my #8, just the other day. Looks just like your picture.
I was looking into it a little, and it looks like the drill bit can be replaced by loosening the hex bolt on the side of the countersink part. -
Sorry about your foot!
I noticed the same thing when I migrated from Craftsman, to DeWalt. I bought the 200+ piece mechanics toolset the day it came out.
Very first thing I noticed, was how well the ratchets felt in the hand.
I sold my considerable Craftsman collection a week later, and I've been living in black and yellow paradise ever since. -
Any band saw will do dooley dude. No need to pay for something overpriced in the UK.
If it's not made by DeWalt, I don't want it.
:-P

I saw a price structure on another site (I forget which).
It says the kit (with batteries, charger, etc.) is $459 and the bare tool is $299.
