Does this occur when you are engaging the trigger, or releasing it? I am also thinking that it could be the electric brake in action, as from what I understand, it creats a lot of friction to immediatley stop the driver from spinning when the trigger is released.

I actually have this tool, and use it quite a bit for projects around the house, and I have to say that this tool is just awesome! I don't really have any negatives to point out on it, as it has performed admirably. I've used it to cut copper water pipes, trim doors for laminate flooring installation, sanding, and plunge cutting drywall. The only possible negative that I can think of (which applies to most multi-tools) is that blades are a bit expensive from what I can tell, as I've seen BOSCH blades going for about $30.00 at the HD. I have to admit that I recently discovered Harbor Freight, and found similar blades there for about 1/3 the price of the BOSCH OEM ones. I picked some up, but haven't tried them out yet, so I can't comment on the quality yet. But yeah, even though I prefer Milwaukee tools, the BOSCH won me over, as Milwaukee doesn't have a multi-tool that fits my needs (e.g. needed to be corded, and have a quick blade-change system). I give the BOSCH a 10/10!

Hello all!
I was wondering if someone could inform me how to tell the difference between the M18 compact batteries; basically, what I am wondering is how does one determine if the battery is a 1.5 amp hour battery, or if it is a 2.0 battery? Thanks, and I look forward to any input, as I picked up a couple of these second-hand (but they look new), and I'm curious about this.

I think that the Milwaukee M18 radio is awesome, after getting some hands-on experience with it. At first, I thought it looked a bit cumbersome when I initially seen it on TIA/ Youtube, but after using it, I feel that its size is great, and the sound is awesome (this thing gets super loud). I also like the fact that it can charge your M18 batteries, as well as run off of them. I really want to get one of these for personal use, as I can definetly see myself taking it to the beach for a grill-out session, or for just jamming at home while I'm working on a project (I always gotta have music on when I'm tackling any kind of project, as it keeps me motivated). The bluetooth capabilities, and beer/ bottle opener are also a huge plus. Over all, I would say that this is the item I would like to win the most in the tool bag giveaway, because I see so much potential for personal use in owning this beast of a radio. Just my 2 cents. Hello everyone!
I just registered today, but have been watching TIA quite regularly on Youtube, and have now decided its time to become a member. I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I am married, am from California, got my own place a few years back, and I have a love for powertools and home improvement/ repair. I like all tools brands, but tend to find myself usually leaning more in favor of Milwaukee (I like their ergonomics). I wanted to join this site to get some better insight into the newer technology involved in cordless powertools, as well as with the hopes of getting some great tips from users that I can apply towards some of the various projects that I seem to be faced with as a homeowner. Well thanks for taking the time to let me introduce myself, and I look forward to learning a lot from this site while meeting other people.

I was wondering, can this method be used over an existing tiled fireplace? My wife wants me to reface our tiled fireplace, but I don't know what's the best approach to take on this project. Good work on the fireplace BTW.
