  1. Send it in for warranty. If its only 3 yrs old, you still have a warranty. You dont need a receipt, it goes of serial number

agreed, dewalt will replace no questions.  but luckily my 20v rep saw is running smooth.

  2. If your just doing occasional charging the 500 watter will get you by however if your doing daily charging and or need to run other things at the same time I would look for a higher wattage inverter.....something up around 750 -1000 watt min. and isn't a whole lot more money. I also would consider one hardwired directly to your battery, not difficult to do. The cig lighter adapters are crap, run hot and could melt.....been there done that. The worst thing for inverters are heavy loads, size it 3 times larger then you need and it should last a good many years.

i agree with jbw55, dont cheap out and get a decent one that plugs to the battery.

  3. im with you on the more power circ saw

After the Dewalt media event 2015 I feel a bit dissapointed with what they showed. Milwaukee had some more interesting tools at their event IMO.

Everybody has said that 2015 is the year for Dewalt to shine, but so far I'm not that impressed.

What I'm hoping for in the 20V cordless line at this moment is:

-Updated jigsaw with barrel grip (maybe brushless, but that will increase the price tag of course)

    -Brushless, more powerful circular saw

    -Brushless angle grinder

-Brushless compact impact wrench. Take the technology from the new DCF899 and smash it in the form factor of the DCF880

These new tools will keep me on the yellow path and not mix in to team red. Not that I would mind those tools from Milwaukee but I intend to stick to one 18V/20V platform

  4. anyone has a review on the 40v blower, as much as i don't want another battery platform it sounds like a decent deal with the free 2nd 4.0ah battery.

was originally looking into the 20v blower since i have a handful of 20v batteries.

also looks like amazon has the same free battery deal too.

  5. just came back from HD and was messing with this tool chest.  it's big and would fit alot of tools, feels pretty sturdy as well but didnt roll it around.  the drawers slide pretty smooth, sticks a little bit but they'll probably slide better as you load the drawers up.
