  1. So I made it into this welding program that my school funds and I get a $15,000 welding certificate after my 2 years there. So far I'm in love with it. I've already done MIG welding, plasma cutting, and oxyfuel cutting. I go to the school for half of the day and then I go back to regular school for the last half of the day. It's pretty great.401c96e35a5846a0c4b3ec2b6d5b7e87.jpg

  2. Haven't been posting much on the forum lately but I still have been up to date with YouTube. So my brother turned 18 and September and we got him an ar-15 and then he bought an SKS. Now we have been getting into the gun business and now i like to make stuff with the spent casings. Here's a couple things that i have made.(usb light, pen keychain, retractable pen, 9mm bracelet, mini US Flag) and a pic of my bedroom which is a mess.522ed2c3e01d9ced99ac4253fd4623d1.jpge969327626a40b478ca7ab33b70b74e2.jpg

  3. So I just saw the southwire non contact voltage detector giveaway and I really want one, so I just read the no rules rules policy and I saw that you had to be over 18 and under 223 years old. Im only 15 and I love tools matter of fact i'm buying another Dremel rotary tool today(if my mom feels like driving to the HD). So can I still win even though i'm not 18. Can the crew just let me slide through this one because i'm really trying to win one of these.

  4. Merry Christmas and Happy holidays TIA crew!!! hope all of you have a wonderful day. Does anybody want to share what santa got them this year lol. I got some clothes, fishing gear, and a dremel flex shaft, and a gift card to home depot which I plan on buying a new dremel with.

  5. I've had my southwire autoranging multimeter So i would have to say that it is my favorite elec-chickens tool, but hopefully when i have a well paying job i would like to buy a high end fluke meter like the fluke 87 and some other thing like and oscilloscope. Im more of like a hobbyist than a house electrician even though i still have some basics of changing out outlets and installing dimmer and stuff like that.

  6. Good Nate! That autosense is awesome. I'm seriously thinking about getting another one. It's honestly a fantastic machine for cabinetry and the controls are stupid simple. Glad to see you back on the forum too! How's school going?

Schools pretty good my grades are good I'm just trying to get through the year quickly.

  7. Not sure why I remembered that. It did surprise me how fast it smoked, thought it would have lasted a little longer than it did.

So Nate, is this the drill you got from ChrisK?

Yes it is a different drill I treat the auto sense like a baby. And surprisingly even though I smoked the matrix it still works!!

  8. So here I am making spent 5.56 pens and I drill like 1/4" holes in the back where the primer is. So my 6th hole I'm smelling some electrical smoke and I look at my drill and it's some thick smoke coming out of my drills vent holes I thought it was just the smoke coming from the oil I was using but nope. Now, I'm giving my drill a nice long brake from production.

  9. The collet nut is stripped? Replacing it would be a lot cheaper. I've heard the quick release has some bugs.

The shaft lock is slipping when I press it down and try to unscrew the collet nut.

  10. So my dremel 3000 shaft is starting to get stripped and I cannot take out the sanding drum. I'm looking at the dremel 4200, does anyone have an idea on how well they work and would anyone recommend me a better corded rotary tools if so, I need your help.

  11. Me and my mom went to Lowe's today and she was looking for a light to be put on top on the fridge to add a little more light to the "depressing" kitchen. She liked this 40watt bronze light so i said it's not bright enough so I picked out this 250watt utility light for $15. Anybody know how long this light should be run for?d98e782f612b3a72cdd96c2117ee66e8.jpg69cabf74d80c140c57de428b2814f0a9.jpg3e068339a1c88d933add7a7e14faee92.jpg

  14. I went to the local home depot and came across this utility knife set and had to buy it. Not really had to buy it but a deal you can't turn down. I bought these for $14.88 and I thought the crew/dewalt lovers would get a kick out of this.451737d94ba51fb27ebfc3a93c07a5c7.jpg
