Does this mean Makita will be abandoning the poorly made current range of 10,8v tools with the totaly lame 1,3ah batts???

While I dig anything German, and Festool in particular, I guess I don't understand a cordless tool with a vacuum tube...
...but it's not cordless !

It's because they are designed for the DX01/DX02 vac units and the LED would be hidden with the Vac unit fitted.

No 'probably' about it... If you have a look at the LED placement on the DHR263, it's the same spot as the vac power plug on the DHR 243... shame they don't do a plug in LED for it though!.. I might see if I can knock something up on my 3D printer!
