I am disappointed there was no 20v tools released or concepts shown.

Where is the 20v 18ga nailer already!? I am already bummed the 20v 16ga angled finish nailer is not as strong as the old 18v unit.

That and Porter Cable today released 3 new 20v nailers on their platform! Come on DeWalt, this is ridiculous.

You do realize PC and dewalt r both stanley black and Decker right

Yeah I wonder if was made months ago to slam them today or if someone made it this morning. If we knew about the tools I assume they knew also. The tool industry probably has James bond spies selling information. At least they didn't try to slam them before the tools came out.

well they are just trying to combat the positive press flexvolt will have... shooting it out prior would have all sorts of legal issues... I am sure theres still some legal stuff going on right now between both...

fact is i want that miter saw. 12 inches baby. power....

The competition will be good for every consumer. Dewalts 9ah will be out in January and then it will be a better comparison. Im partial to Dewalt because I like their miter saws and table saws so much.

marketing is fun isnt it :P makes you wonder when a company needs to make actual webpages to try and slam innovation.

I don't have an issue with it, Dan and Eric are nice guys and it's cool they keep the peace by honoring Dewalt, yea there is a line to too much company interfering but I don't think dewalts stepped over the line, why piss them off?? It's only a week away too

In the past it was more of a courtesy to Dewalt because they sponsor TIA and to keep things good. No they don't moderate us they could have told them to go stick it...

Nice design, I especially like the giant search bar that comes up when you scroll up the page. I don't spend much time on their site, but it's well done.

Honestly for about the same money as the 709 you could pick up the 7-1/4 dewalt cordless. Blades are easy to come by and cheaper. It has pretty decent capacity too. Just a thought.
