    Hey crew hope everyone is well and is having a great summer, I'm not sure if anyone has been on

    amazon lately watching prices but they recently lowered prices of battery powered tools to make room for more stock and I was able to buy a Dewalt 16 ga finish nailer or the DCN660D1 combo kit for only $330 plus shipping, Yes I didn't save much but still $60 is money saved. Can't wait till I can get my hand on Flexvolt! I wish I could upload the images but my computer kept displaying a error message after each download attempt

  3. Should I buy a brad nailer or finish nailer or both

    Hey crew 

    hope everyone had a good fourth of july! 

    So I recently started building furniture for my dad and am ready to buy a nail gun 

    now due to my space in my garage and lack of outlets I have to buy a cordless one 

    I'm building boxes for storage to be stacked on top of each other to look like a bookshelf kinda unit 

    I'm also building a credenza and a few small tables 

    My question is should I buy a finish nailer or a brad nailer first? 

    Also can finish nails be used to make the boxes? 

    Any and all advice or opinions will be extremely helpful

    true that jimbo but isn't boschs 12v line up also dead? 

    From what I've researched and seen on the channel here M12 is the way to go

    I'm going to a buddys to help with a build who has the new makita 12v tools to see how they feel i just need to get a feel for the m12s before i use them. Also Dave Jr. saw that deal at home depot would have jumped on it but don't have the funds right now. Foneguy I'm currently a part of the Dewalt 20v and Ridgid 18v line but I'm just looking for lightweight tools to use around the shop and small tools to throw into my bags for builds

    Hey guys got a long one 

    so I've used and purchased RIDGIDS 12v drill and impact driver and I like them but there isn't much on their 12v platform

    My question is should I go with the power house Milwaukee M12 line which looks awesome and is the biggest 12v lineup on the market right now or go with another brand like DEWALT or Makita? I've used DEWALTs 12v line and wasn't to impressed with the drills. Any and all input would be amazing just need to choose by August. I plan on using these in my schools shop and home shop

     

     

  8. Need opinions on what tool storage system to go with

    Hey TIA Crew 

    I have got quite a lot of tools now just spread out all over my garage and i want a good method of organization and storage. Any ideas, opinions or knowledge on not only whats good but whats transportable. I need to be able to move my tools from one location to the next and I currently use tool bags that came with the tools and would like to move on. I been seeing a lot of ads about tough storage systems which hey look great but is it affordable? is it worth purchasing rather then a big tool chest?

    Thanks guys so much for the helpful advice especially carl and chris  

    I do a lot of finish carpentry and just orders desalts 20v max 5 tool combo kit 

    i went with dewalt because every shop I've worked in has used it and i trust the yellow 

    but for my miter and table saws i haven't decided yet on what I'm going to get I've heard great things about festool but also great things about boschs new miter saws. Any advice?
