I've heard a lot of positive and negative comments on these battery guns so far, they seem to be pretty hit and miss at the moment. But you get that with new designs.

 

I've only had short plays with a couple of brands, bit had a go at a framer as yet but can imagine them being quite heavy.

Have just recently had one of the Senco fixers come in for repair, had a broken driver. Luckily the diver is included under the 2 year warranty (most nail guns the driver is not), if it was not the cost was 2/3 the price of a new gun. 

Have said to the chippy, once that 2 years is up will most likely not be worth repairing. 

 

Paslode all the way at this time for high use cordless guns.

A quick obligatory hello.

 

Have been looking for a place to not only keep up with news of new releases but also to chat about them with like minded folks. 

There does not seem to be many from Australia on here, but I've not had any luck finding a similar discussion board here.

 

A little about myself. Currently work in IT asset management but really over it, looking to get back to my roots.

10 years experience as electric motor winder and tool tech, recently started my own business repairing tools and building it up after hours at the moment.
