I believe it's only the 7.25"
Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -
It is not brushless

I believe they are 5ah you'll want to check and be sure what the batteries are. The circ saw is preference
That set listed there is the DCK494p2 set.
So if I want the brushless circ saw, does it have to be the 7 1/4" version?
This set here comes with the 5.0ah batteries, correct?

DCK494P2 with DCS570B if you want the light for a little more:Ok that is what I thought. Are there any sets that have the brushless hammer drill along with the brushless impact driver, circ saw and sawzall?https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F163406945221

No and I'd definitely want them brushless, personally.

I'd also try warranty regardless of whether you have proof of purchase or not. All they can do is say no.

There may be slight improvements but I'm not entirely sure.
Ok ty for the info. Are the hammer drill versions built more heavy duty?

7.25" is right hand and the 6.5" is left hand. As far as durability, noAre compact saws built any less durable or reliable than non compact saws? Besides the size difference, what are the differences between a compact and non compact saw?
Heres a link for explanation. Also toolguyd.com is a great tool review website.

If you just want the drill and circ buy one set then buy the other tool bare. That's what I've done. And yes sadly the code was yesterday only as far as i know, wouldn't hurt to still try it. I'll look and see what I can find for you

And on the brushless drill, the chuck is metal and one of the best none-chuck-key chucks I've used.
Makita is good but he already is in the dewalt platform I see no benefit I getting into another.

The ah is the battery capacity or how much "juice" they have to use. Brushless can produce a larger output than brushed comparing motor size. As per old nicad and new lithium, the lithium provide the same power rating until discharged where nicad do not.Sorry didn't see that post before I posted.
On that set, it says it comes with two 2.0ah batteries. On the dck592l2 set, it comes with two 3.0ah batteries. How big of a difference is that? And what does XR mean?
As to the XR I believe that is their brushless line or pro use but I'm not positive.
The 2ah last a while on the brushless tools. I'd get the 5ah if you plan on heavy use of the sawzall and circ.
Definetly get brushless if the tools will be used heavily and dirty.

Durability, power, and efficiency mainly. Brushless isn't as hard on batteries. No brushes to wear out. And they can produce more power. That is not a brushless set as far as I know.

What tools do you really want. I would get brushless Dewalt seeing as that what you already have
Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -
Take sandpaper with a wood backer and push in this direction across the edge.
Sharpening it wont be a good as new but it will work alright

Used on Ebay is a great place to look

Prebuilt cabinetsI suppose I will ask a new question.
What is mostly made of black metal and black plastic, comes in a box and in some cases with another box, and some assembly and installation required to use?
If we want to continue with the previous question that is fine too.

Out of curiosity what kind of batteries were you usingYou guys can buy anything you like.
I posted a very honest account of what I experienced.
Today I was ripping 16’ treated boards with my 6 1/2”. It did the job. As I was ripping them, I was thinking how the 7 1/4” would have never even compared.
I’ll go with the flexvolt.
If it works for you, great. Not for us.
My brother in law thinks the saw is great. He is extremely happy.
Maybe we did get a bad one.

How to cut 1/8" Stainless Rod?
in Power Tools
Posted
Chop saw if you want to cut a bunch at a time. Otherwise an angle grinder and cutoff wheel.
