[Makita Cordless 10" miter stuck in bevel position]

Did you solve this problem rob because I’ve got exactly the same problem and need help ??

I’ve just purchased the new LS1019L compound mitre saw, and was going through the setup yesterday in my front room. The mitre works fine both ways . It beveled fine to the left but I unscrewed the new front release and pressed the release button at rear to bevel right and it’s got to 22.5 degrees and locked in position and I can’t get it to release, I’ve tried unscrewing the front release more, rocking it abit while pressing the rear release button and nothing works.

help !!
