  1. DW705 (Version 8) Miter Saw Won't Brake

    Hoping one of you guys can help because I'm running out of ideas!

     

    So far, I've:

    1. replaced the brushes (didn't help)
    2. cleaned the commutator (didn't help but looks brand new now)
    3. replaced the switch (even though my multi-meter is telling me the old one is working properly)

     

    What else could be the problem?  Saw takes about 8-10 seconds to come to a rest.
