Ego tools are really well made and a pleasure to use on the whole. I have a mower, multiple batteries, shears and multi-tool kit with a range of attachments and I am very happy with the. The only downside is that the tools most definitely do not match petrol for power, despite the marketing. Particularly the Brushcutter. Bizarrely my little 32v Black n Decker strimmer outperforms my Ego line trimmer for power and performance.

- A smaller strimmer for lawn edging would be useful.
- Also while most Ego tools pack more than enough power, the brush cutter really can’t compete with petrol, not even close. So a more more powerful variant would be great.
- A blower with suction capabilities
- A smaller model mower for the smallest urban lawns, say... 30-35cm cutting width

I wonder why the larger 80v models are being abandoned in favour of the smaller 48v models?

I’m in the UK and we have only just had the professional line released, so I guess the brush cutter I have been using previously was residential. I’m well aware that the (new here) professional variant should offer a significant performance upgrade and am keen to try it out.
