Hard to believe we are the only 2 with this problem, Milwaukee must have sold hundreds of these drills. Everyone probably just threw them out and bought new (we live in a throw away world). I have a 5370-1 Magnum Hammer drill that also needs a new switch. A s you said, Milwaukee was no help, other than to say use a #23-66-1665 as a replacement switch. Well, I got one and it is nothing like the original when it comes to wiring it. Physically it fits, but electrically it's not. I consider myself pretty handy at repairing things, but I can't even make sense of the wiring points, and I don't want to make a guess and risk ruining the drill. I have several Milwaukee tools and never ran into service issues like this before. Might be time to switch to Bosch or DeWalt.
