Hi all. A little while back I bought a top handle chainsaw, the XCU08. It's pretty good, has plenty of power and the battery lasts for quite a bit. Especially with the 6 amp/hour. Biggest issue I have, the safety feature. Unless you have the chain running, it won't cut. Which is a good thing most of the time. But when you're trying to do tree work (arborists), having the chain just stop because it gets a little grabby or you need to just make a little bit more of a cut, it just stops. Anyone know of a way to bypass this? I'm assuming it's going to be involved electrically but not sure if anyone has experience or knows what to look for.
