tool junkie Posted October 13, 2007 Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 I own a Dewalt DW378G (hypoid) framers saw. It's a great saw overall, but I've always wondered why the front right corner of the base is indented. This can be a little problem when starting a cut against a straight edge. I've asked Dewalt tech support but they seem to be only guessing at an answer. They say they have to make a written request through their engineering dept.Does anyone know the answer?? Thanks.
