I just saw the video on concord carpenter for the cordless tracksaw. The dust collector bag looks surprising good.

WOW!! Congratulations! That a great setup. I'm jealous! I have been going to toolnut.com over and over, looking at the ts55 req. I can't afford it, but they have that darn paypal 6 months to pay with no interest option. I keep annoying my wife about it.

I just read this on festools website. They are recalling all the ts55 req. Wow!

I don't remember what else a track saw can't do. Cutting long sheets down or long strips on a table saw are sketchy.
Regopit, do you have a table saw. If so, what do you use it for?

I agree with you DR. Toolselect (before they went off the air) had a festool ts55 chalange to see if it could replace a table saw.

If there's a thread on this, I didn't see it. That could be due to old age though.
I wanted to get your guys thoughts on the 2453-20 impact. It seems like it would be an awesome tool The specs are great (some are barely below some 18v impacts).
How is real world performance?
I have one also and I love it. Performance is outstanding. Well worth it. No problems so far. I also got it with the free battery when I got it from HD.

That's sooooo cool you went to that Regopit!!!! Cool you got to see Kevin O Conner. He seams like a nice guy. Must of been real cool to be involved in the focus group! Sounds like so much fun.
