  1. You are better off calling snap on directly. They may just send you the repair kit. If you just send them the ratchet they will just mail it back to you with a note saying they need proof of purchase.

I'd recommend just buying the kit from them for $10 shipped. I can show you step by step how to get that ball in place if needed.

  2. I guess I signed up a long time ago. A few days ago when I rediscovered your site (spammed at another site) and tried to sign up it said my email was already used. Retrieved my password and here I am.

Cool forum y'all have. It seems like there is a lot of younger guys here which is also pretty cool.

Anyway, I have been a flooring contractor for over twenty years. I have a wide variety of interests mostly revolving around tools of some sort.

I live in the inner city.

I buy and sell (eBay)professional mechanics tools.

I am an automotive enthusiast. I like custom vans the most.

I also like (buy and sell) vintage bicycles. Balloon tire, sting rays, bmx, and mtb. I am not a cyclist though. Lol.

My house was built in 1948 and it is furnished so it still looks like 1948 inside. The basement has been updated to 1970.

    My garage is 27x30.

My cordless tools are makita. I have few others brands too.

I have two jack Russell terriers.

    That's about it.
