  1. I know that they make a shorter version of it that is a lot better price. What will you be using it for?

Mostly demo work. Yeah they sell the short one at Home Depot and Lowe's for about $30 but I think the bigger one would be much better.

  2. For drill bits I've always liked the Dewalt for the bigger ones. for pilot holes I always buy a bunch of cheaper bits because no matter what you get they break. For the auger bits I like the Irwin. I bought a set of Milwaukee auger bits but the 1/4" shank  broke on them so I'll stick with the Irwin.

  3. Im an electrician so I love the outlets myself! haha

Yeah electrical is what I love to do the most but I've never been able to push myself into getting licensed. I'm jealous..

I'm originaly from Chicago but I do love Kenosha it's a lot more quiet. I got into to much trouble in Illinois when I was younger so I moved to Kenosha. But I am a Hardcore BEARS FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I know old topic. BUT!!!! I am exited I am in the process of buying a 1912 Colonial on a corner lot. It's gonna need a lot of work. Roof, rotted porch, one car garage coming down to make room for a 2 1/2 car garage, plaster ceilings falling, new bathrooms and kitchen.  On the good side Original hardwood throughout, original oak base, casing and crown. Foier is all oak hardwood. Wish me luck!!!!

  5. Depends. My M12 Milwaukee is sufficient in 9 of 10 cases. If you have a few batteries or your batteries are the new 4.0 packs, it would probably be sufficient in 95% of cases. Depends on what you're using it for I suppose.

Well I might have to try it. I did go with the Milwaukee mini recip so I might have to expand on the 12v.

  6. I only wear Dickies carpenter pants and they hold up pretty well. Shorts and sneakers at a job site are not a good idea. Nails go right through sneakers and shorts don't protect your legs from sharp objects.. Painting might be an exception.

  7. I've been meaning to try these out, but something about pliers without blue handles forces me outside my comfort zone.

I agree I like the blue too it represents quality..I just recently bought the 11 in 1 Milwaukee screwdriver they reviewed on tools in action. At first I liked it but the wire stripper does'nt work well also the philips and flat head bits are small and akward.  Over all if I had a choice I would'nt buy it again. I have a stanley 6 in 1 one that I've used for years and love it and it cost half the price.

  8. Do you have any of the DeWalt 12 volts. They have a nice compact pivoting recip saw.

Yeah I have the Dewalt 12v impact and the screw gun but the design of their mini recip does'nt seem to convince me. I was already leaning towards the Milwaukee the only reason I was'nt sure was because I have the 12v Bosch driver but Milwaukee does have a wider variety. Thanks for the info.
