Somehow the plastic gaurd that also cuts the line dropped both screws and the gaurd went flying !
I can't find the correct screws for it ! Does anyone know ?

So I fixed it ..........I took it apart to see what I could see. Then I plugged the cord into the body....played with the 2 speed switch and hit the trigger and got it to run ! So I put it back together and of course it DIDN'T run ! Scratched my head and to the cord off the body and took my box cutter blade and spread those pins open just a little, plugged cord back on body and then outlet......then I hit the trigger it RUNS...it both gears ! By taking the handle apart, the cord just fit a little better , than I was able to figure out what the problem really was !!

So your saying after I undo the plug and try to figure out witch 2 prongs are the correct ones, I should be able to put my meter across the prongs and move the switch to check and see if the resistance changes ? So the big deal is figure out what 2 prongs ?
THANKS Ted !

The serial # has long gone been worn off !
I have this OLD Milwaukee 6507 Sawzall that stopped working ! I had it plugged into an extension cord it simply quit !
I did then plug it directly into an outlet ..nothing !
It doesn't make any noises when you play with the cord and/or the trigger !
What I did on the job site in order to narrow down the problem and make sure it's NOT the cord itself, it was undone then I took 3 small nails and put them into the holes , then plugged it into a GFI outlet and see if had power at those nails ! I had a KLEIN current tool and at one nail it went red, saying that I do have power going through the cord !
So the next question IS, it is the brushes, I pulled both out, they were clean, but they are only about 3/16 of an inch !
So it begs the question, how little will these 6507 work with ?
OR...is it the switch ? I would think if it was the switch, there would be some sort of intermittent thing going on when work it ?
Not just dead ! ?
So what can I do to figure out EXACTLY what the problem is ?
Many thanks, Ted

I got the part #'s from the Milwaukee parts blow up !
I just took another longer look at it.
It looks like maybe it could be a simple as taking off the handle !
The brushes seem to be back there !
Thanks !

Hi ALL!
I have a Milwaukee Corded Hammer Drill, model 5380-21, serial #B01DD13420298.It needs new brush, I've found them.
Jjust HOW do you do this ! I don't see 2 nice un-screwable compartments I can EASILY undo and take out the old and install the new ! Is there a step-by-step instruction somewhere ? I didn't see anything on youtube!
Many Thanks, Ted -

Really ! Just those 2 torx screws ?
How is the blade lever held in ?
Does it just snap in ?
If all above is true....I'll just order me up a blade lever from the old Ebay !

Hi ALL!
I have a Dewalt 20 V DCS 381 reciprocating saw I got as a part of the 5 piece kit . It IS under 3 years , so the warrantee is good, but a pain, because the factory place is an hour away. Yes I know that Dewalt with send me a shipping coupon, but I'll be without the tool for some time !
So I'm wondering how difficult is it to replace that little yellow blade thing ?
I have looked on youtube and the web can't find anything !
And the part is easy to get on Ebay.
Thanks, Ted

Hi ALL!
My cordless DC 385 Reciprocating saw is dead......most of the time !
If you slap it towards the top it might start up again. So is it the brushes OR switch ?
And how easy is it to fix whatever ?
MANY thanks, DwTedII

I got my jigsaw with a 6 PCS 18 VoltXRP set. So...just why can't they do that again with the 20 V Ion ??

I was looking around the Dewalt Outlet. Seems that the
"Premium" multi piece sets, are the ones that DON'T come with any FreeBie Bare tools !
Bummer !

Hi!
I'm looking into buying a 5 piece 20 Volt Lithium set to replace my old 18 V XRP set. I see as of yet, you can't get a set including a 20 V jig saw. So I'm going to keep my 18 V xrp jig saw. The question IS, will the 20 Volt Lithium battery fit AND run the Jig saw
