What do you do about dust and noise that might disturb the neighbors? I have lived in a lot of apartments in my day and I feel your pain dude.
-
Glad to see you are making your own. That is a high price for what looks like a simple build. Go for it.

Never know what is really going on behind the scene in the world of business. It is the same tool re branded.

Looks like those had some rough use. But should have lasted longer than they did.

I have EGO's 15" trimmer and the bump hasn't misfired on me yet.
Glad to hear they fixed this issue. Mine is the 12 inch and is a problem. Not enough to dump it and buy a new one though.

Hard to believe it would make that much of a difference but who knows.

What did the saw run you?

I have the original string trimmer and they have come out with a new one and they may have improved or fixed this issue. But on mine quite often the string does not advance when you want it to or need it to. I have tried to rewind it looser, tighter just about anything I can think of and it is still a problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I hope they addressed this on the new model. It works great other then that.

I'll put in my vote for the EGO, I have the Trimmer, hedge trimmer and the blower. They all work great with the possible exception of the string bump advance on the string trimmer. EGO is a great way to go though.

I just use my Hoover upright. My wife gets pissed at me, but I can't have a dirty shop. Wish I had some input, but I don't.
Hoover upright rules! Funny Eric

I didn't know Festool knew what 99 dollars meant. I see they are not taking any new orders though.

Nice job Chris, must be exciting moving into a new house getting a new shop too, Can't help you with your question though. I am using the one car section of a three car garage and have only added a new breaker for a little more convenience with outlets. Have fun with the new house and shop.

I have the original blower and love it. Nice to see them trying to improve. My dog would never let me get close to it with a blower like that. Nice dog.
