In the UK its all out war! They have doubled the price of batteries and dealers are trying to slid out any bare tools and old shape batteries, they have hiked the compatable Li Ion's and are expecting customers to dump all there old tools and buy new sets for the slip on batteries. For me and my company that would be a 10K steriling investment I won't be making until allot more kit dies and if they keep going the next investment will be in another brand!

I am new and it may have been asked? Can you use the older multi chemistry charger for the Li ion batteries? I am looking to ship a batch from US to UK, import duty if 2.7% and even with courier and vat are 50% cheaper than the scamming EU Dewalt. The batteries I was looking at are DE9180?
