Pete, that's the deluxe porter cable 12" dovetail jig. I haven't used it yet! Been waiting to make room in my shop to actually use it! Plus, my neighbor has asked that I build some wooden boxes for a new amp he has designed. I'm going to be using the jig and my Domino like crazy here shortly
wow very cool, i didn't even know they made that, cant wait to see what you make with it

Hrmm, I was thinking on getting the new Fuel 2.0 tools right away, but now I might wait for the One Key versions to come out. Why not have more features for just a little more money.
if you can spend the extra money i say go for it be all of are guinea pigs and lets use know

Just wanted to say congratulations to all the winners, your stickers are on their way.
Thank you very much crew for participating and for all the kind things you've had to say.
I very much appreciate it.
This forum has been great to me, I've gotten so much information about tools and have made some new friends.
Seem's like this forum is filled with cool people, unlike some other forums where there are some ass holes and drama.
I hate drama, and this forum has non of it, just a bunch of cool people who enjoy tools. I've never done this type of thing before but it's because of Dan and Eric and the TIA crew that made me want to give a little something back.
You guys rock! Later Crew
a huge thanks to you for doing this, i cant wait to get mine!

Should have bought both and take back what you don't like, that's what I love about HD returning things is almost faster than buying the item
i know right i do it all the time i need special expense blades for my jig saw once for like 2 cuts, made the 2 cuts returned the blades that day no questions ask.
What are your initial thoughts? I played with one while waiting in line the other day but only had a few seconds hands on.
i really like it, i have an old stanley and its good. but this i really like. i like the idea it can be stacked and then latch together. but after about 2 weeks i will really have my mind made up.

He misplaced his dremel charger and was so upset he couldn't find it
i bet he will find it as soon as the garage is clean its amazing the things you find when you go through and clean your tools

Im not a finish carpenter by any means but i needed a finishing gun so this is a nice little beater gun i wont be useing it all the time so this is good for me and i use pneumatic at work but for my side jobs i use already my cordless paslode i dont own a compressor yet
Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
okay i was gonna say cuz i know u have the cordless paslode, cordless is nice, its nice to not mess around with hose and compressors and other crap once an a while.

i actually just picked up the milwaukee today but i'm not 100% sold on it, im kinda wondering if i should have bought the dewalt.
-
i really want that m12 saw i hear its great.
-
looks great! how come you went with cordless nail gun instead of pneumatic?
-
got to agree with everyone here i wouldn't do it. i did tho just convert my old air compressor that stopped working into a spare tank.

Mostly Bosch for power tools and Milwaukee is starting to "bleed" (get it? - cause it's red...) into my lineup, but I use hand tools quite often too. You know, know that I think about it, I say mostly Bosch, but I have a pretty good variety. Bosch, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Porter Cable, Craftsman, Ridgid, - heck, I even have some old school Black and Decker, and Skill. My Lawnmower and string trimmer are even Ryobi. You can just see some DeWalt and Craftsman in the right hand corner on the shelving. If i were to go to the store and buy all new tools though, I think it would be mostly Bosch and Milwaukee with a pop of Festool in there for fun.
let it bleed my friend let it bleed!! lol but milwaukee is great for cordless.
What did you do today? A thread dedicated to the general use of tools in your projects.

had to nail down some squeaky subfloor before the hardwood goes in next week, used Pasload's special subfloor gun and my rol-air air buddy.. yes i know the compressor is to small to run a framing nail gun, but i wanted to see what it could do!
