Guess what future woodworker got to go to Woodcraft yesterday....
Thats right! Oh yeah! And he helped daddy pick out a brand spanking new CT26 dust collector and a big pile of new Festool sanding pads and papers for free courtesy of my boyz at Woodcraft (not the CT.....that would have been awesome!!!!)
Also found out there's a Festool roadshow at the Newington NH Woodcraft on April 1st at 0800 with free lunch! Hope some crew are in the area!
Your son has good taste in tools at such a young age!!!
He is going to grow up to be a really good woodworker!!

Interesting, I can't remember if I got that message or not
This same contest was posted on Facebook. That is where I asked the question about it.
This is the response.
Larry S Since I'm already signed up for e-mails am I automatically signed up for the drawing? I tried to enter and it said that I'm already signed up for the e-mails. Wouldn't let me enter. Would really like a chance to win the string trimmer.Acme Tools Larry, this contest is just for new subscribers. Stay tuned for more great giveaways!Larry S Ok...... I'll keep looking. Thank you.- 1

Unfortunately that contest is for the new people signing up for their e-mail only.
I tried signing up and it said I was already signed up for their e-mail.
So I asked them about the contest and that's what I was told.
They said they would have more contest later for everyone.

A drain pan that's not going anywhere!! HAHA it's hard to see, but it doesn't drain away to anywhere, plus this is a second story, it starts leaking and no one notices, that's coming through the ceiling below!
It's the effort that counts.
Looks as if the whole thing is a disaster. Might as well make the drain pan a part of the disaster also.

At least they have a drain pan at the bottom of the water heater.

Thank you everyone with some great info.
Like I said I'm in the planning stages right now. So when I do find the right plans to build a router table for my needs I can also get the right size router for what I want to do.
Plans are as of right now is to start remodeling the kitchen sometime next winter.

What wood are you planning on using for the raised panel doors? Raised panel bits need lots of HP.
The other question is, do you plan on using a router lift so you can make easy bit changes and height adjustments from the top or are you willing to work under the table making adjustments with a plunge router and bit changes?
My picks for router table router and handheld router are going to be totally different.
If I planned on doing a fair amount of hardwood raised panel work I would be purchasing a 3 1/4 HP unit.
Everything right now is in the planning stages. We want to remodel our kitchen sometime next winter and I was just getting together some information so when I do start to plan to build a router table I have the right size that I need to do the doors.

Is there a link or can someone give me information on a good Wood Router.
I'm looking into building a router table and mounting it so I can make kitchen raised door panels and more.
Or your own personal experience with a good router. How big a router I would need.

Congratulations to all of the winners!!!
