  1. Thanks guys. We dont have Lowes in Australia but I will return it on monday and see what happens. As for the other makers, few have practical grinders. Milwakee make you flick a switch and pull on this awkward lever and the dewalt is set up like a 9". Neither can b used with one hand very well if at all. I found Bosch and Metabo have nice grinders for metal workers. The rest don't seem like they've really given it much thought yet
  2. Thank you DR99. Also the grinder has a heap of vibration compared to a normal power grinder. Is this normal? Being in the metal trade I don't have much experience in cordless tools. They had always lacked the power until recently. Its the first time ive bought hitachi power tool. How they deal with my hammer drill now will determine my view of Hitachi
  3. Hi does anyone have any experience with hitachi. I bought a cordless combo 18v hammer drill, impact wrench and 5" grinder. I chose hitachi cos they have the best cordless 5" in my opinion. Made for single hand operation unlike most others. Firstly is the battery charger ment to b this loud. I know it has a cooling fan but boy is it loud. The hammer drill now emits blue arcs and smells like its burning. It also makes this horrible noise. I only bought it 2 weeks ago. What should I expect from customer service? Replacement or?
