  1. . Hey my Brotha Chrisk!!! Yea bro we've been lookin into selling our house and getting into a better neighorhood bro it's getting bad around here :( really really sucks I grew up around here and decided to buy our first house here an it was great and love my neighbors but for awhile now it's just been getting bad with the damn gangs and crack heads around here it feels like they just came in wave and are sticking around :/ so I'm hoping and praying bro to get my family out before it gets worse.. Really hoping to find a 3 car garage ;)

I wish you the best BigMikeZ! I really hope you can find a better place to live. I used to live in a rough area myself, but I'm sure it was nothing compared to what you deal with on the mainland.

  2. I seriously doubt the ambulance chaser will win. Totally different mechanism. That'd be like saying......

"Hey.....I made a cordless drill that goes forward and reverse.....hey....those jerks have a cordless drill that goes forward and reverse too! I'm suing!" It ticks me off on account I want a saw stop saw. I hope Bosch comes up with a stationary one just so I can buy it and say "suck off numb nuts"

Yeah, Steve Gass can kiss my _ _ _. He is defending that patent so hard that it's hard for anyone else to make a similar product. I give Bosch a whole bunch of kudos for innovating with the Reaxx saw. Hopefully the other big table saw manufacturers will follow suit. I would love to see Powermatic, Delta, Jet, Grizzley or even Rigid come out with a similar safety feature to compete with Saw Stop.

Gotta say though, the Saw Stop is a great Table Saw. You definitely need to take some pictures of that bad boy when you get it. If I were gonna pay that much money though, I'd get a Powermatic instead, since I cut metal and wood on my table saw.

  3. great work nalu! naturally we all want some, and I know I would take about 7 Milwaukee ones, actually if you were thinking about another, Ridgid would be nice if you were to sell them.... id take a few of those too! haha

seriously though great work and look forward to next week!

    added...I can't believe i missed Rigid haha

  4. . That BBQ thread sounds like a great idea that Eric had!

Hell yeah! I usually grill some steaks every Sunday. I've never smoked or BBQ'd before, I bet the crew has some great advice on the subject

  5. As a business, I believe it is SawStops duty to go after Patent Infringement. Having said this, I still believe the guy is an asshole.

Steve Gass claims that all he wants to do is make a safer environment for woodworkers. If this was really true, why doesn't he follow in Elon Musk's footsteps and share all the information so others can benefit? It sounds to me like Steve Gass is trying to monopolize the Table Saw market.

I believe Bosch has a better implementation of the safety feature:

    1. Far cheaper to replace the brake

    2. The brake can be used twice

    3. The blade does not get damaged by the brake

  6. Yeah I think the M12 Fuel Screw Driver will suit your needs well.

    - Light Weight

    - Long Run Time

    - Precise clutch for detailed work / wont strip screws

    - One handed bit changing

I almost bought the same thing about a week ago but in the end I decided on the M12 Fuel Impact Driver because it came with a free M12 Hackzall. I still plan on getting the M12 Fuel Screw Driver for sinking screws in cabinets and hinges. I gotta say though, the M12 Fuel Impact driver has 2 speeds. On speed one, its really easy to sink screws without over torquing them

  7. Nalu you scored big time man....its awesome when you save so much money.

I did the same when i ordered Bosch Tools from Canada, even with S/H, duty and fees....it was half price of any other US store

Yup I love it when we can all save some dough on tools. I've been so caught up with Milwaukee, I often forget to look at the Bosch deals. I scored a good deal on my Bosch 4100 Table Saw w/ Gravity Rise Stand about 5 years ago. If I remember correctly, Slim's was selling it for around $350. I love my Bosch corded tools, they just feel very well built. I'd say Bosch and Milwaukee are my favorite power tool brands at the moment

  8. I have not taken one off but looks like the shaft will not come out. looks like it is only holding plastic retainer and dust cover and bearing race.....

Oh I see...Thanks for the great advice Comp.

Good luck Kyle, I hope you get your saw working

  9. Warning: More Redneck advice

I'm not too sure that you have to remove the retainer clips. I would try and pry off the inner flange first. If you can't get it off, then yes, you can remove the retainer clip and I guess you could pull out the shaft.

  10. I would try and pry it loose if you can. But that's just me.

Warning: Redneck advice about to in ensue

1.) Start prying at the edges of the flange with a chisel or a putty knife. If you ain't got any of those, try carefully using a box cutter.

2.) Help the process along with some long nose pliers to wiggle the thing loose.

3.) Once loose, gentle sand off any burrs of plastic to allow the flange to sit flush on top.
