I'm in power tool new product development. I've lurked here for a long time. Just made an account to answer a question. Great forum y'all have here. I'm a tool nerd myself, so it's fun to read the commentary from a bunch of fellow tool nuts.

We've been pretty busy with that and still are I hear ya on the phone thing, though. Pretty sad to see a group of people out to eat all ignoring each other with their noses in their phones.

Welp...that's because we didn't order them and have none in stock. That's being fixed now. Are you using the 2712-DE? How do you like it?

No, they are separate cases (we make sure the inner half fits the tool and all accessories closely). 2712 case is 42-55-0085 2715 case is 42-55-2715 (note that the -22DE kits with the dedicated dust extractors have larger and different cases)
