In my previous job (won't tell you what job I was doing), this was my boss' hammer. I got seriously blamed the day after for "bad tools management". [emoji29]
-
Years ago, at my gf's place: she asked me to help her out with nailing a few frames on the wall. Showed me her hammer she had (but didn't use much).
The hammer did the job but freaked me out. The worst POS ever.

Jim,
The pliers will worth the wait, trust me. I'm guessing the one you bought is made by Engineer ? Or at least a rebranded version ?

Ahahha yes....sorry.
But actually...

My best tool for rusted screws is this one below:
http://www.engineer.jp/en/products/pz58e.html
I was a bit reluctant at first but then I've tried it at home and on rusted screws under a washing mashine it yup, it works like a charm. VERY impressed.
A bigger size would be this one:

You also have the Loctite Freeze and Release but I've never tried it so can't comment.

Ok not really, Bosch are making them nor selling them but this guys is really good. Just look how he managed to fit the compressor in a Sortimo L-Boxx. Amazing !
An yes, he DOES like Bosch tools !!!
PS: sorry but I can't find any way to embed the videos in the post.

Talmeter is a joy to use:

Been searching for good ones I could rely on and trust. Tried the Stanley and a few others and always found that something was missing. I've recently found the Holy Grail:
Vogel 5m and the Hultafors Talmeter 3m [emoji322]
Absolutely perfect in any and every situations !

The final stool. It is what it is but it's built like a tank. Should outlast me and even the niece. [emoji28]
-
Since the girl isn't tall (ahem she's now almost taller than me [emoji17]) made a little stool with some plywood leftovers.
Couldn't make a fancy design but at least we didn't throw the plywood left away.
My high tech woodworking shop. I doubt anyone here would have anything smaller.
