  1. Thanks for the review. How do you think it compares to the Senco Fusion or the older dewalt 18v Nailer? I'm also looking at the newer Grex GC-1850
  2. Does anyone have this brad nailer yet? I can't seem to find too many reviews online. There are 4 reviews on Home Depot but I can't find any longer in depth reviews.
  3. I I hope the 10" rumors are true because that would definately be a game changer. I don't understand the cloak and dagger secrecy of tool companies. If they already had a cordless miter saw I could understand not talking about a future one because it could hurt sales of the current saw, but to not talk about a brand new tool doesn't make sense. I went ahead and bought the dewalt and that is exactly what they don't want. Oh well, for what it's worth the Dewalt is a really good saw. It has plenty of power and is built very well and extremely portable.
  4. Any word on when the M18 miter saw will be released? I am willing to wait if its coming out in a reasonable amount of time but with no word I am going to just buy the dewalt. Unless the specs for the USA saw changed, the dewalt looks more powerful when compared to the M18 saw they have in Europe. I was surprised when there was no mention of it after the one note. Controlling my drill with my phone didn't really excite me too much.
  5. One more question for you. Is there an estimated USA release date for the 18v battery packs with the fuel gauge on them. If I'm starting form scratch I would prefer to wait for those before I start purchasing.
  6. ok good, thanks for the responses. I was hoping it was taken care of because I really like makita lineup.
  7. So I'm thinking of selling all my different tool platforms and going exclusively with Makita so that I only have 1 type of battery. I have heard and read about the problems with the batteries and how once the chip thinks it a faulty battery it will never try to charge it. Is this still a problem with the newest 4ah and 5ah batteries and newer star tools? I came across a website from a company that recells your old tool batteries and they determined that the Makita design was faulty and they no longer re-cell them, which worries me. They said that the chip inside the battery pulls a tiny bit of energy from the first 2 cells constantly, and if the battery was left for weeks the chip would deep drain the 2 cells causing the charger to think it is faulty. Did they fix this? I assume this can be alleviated by always putting the batteries back on a multi port charger however its something i've never had to worry about with other Manufacturers.
  8. Ryobi has one. I have it and like to use it for quick rounders. It works perfect. Im sure a more professional tool company could make an even better one. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-18-Volt-ONE-Trim-Router-Tool-Only-P600/100342147
  9. Home Depot has a Makita 18v 23g pinner on there website now. It's not available to purchase yet but shows that it will be an available item soon. http://m.homedepot.com/p/Makita-18-Volt-LXT-Lithium-Ion-23-Gauge-Cordless-Pin-Nailer-Tool-Only-XTP01Z/206366671/
