I have the right angle drill too. I know it's m12, but I don't think it's great, by any means.

i use my right angle drill with a 6.0ah pack on it, a world of difference. use it on the right angle impact as well, it wakes them up

  3. Good stuff guys. Hear what you're saying about the framing crews undercutting.  We deal with the Amish coming in a putting up houses for builders in the area. Just wednesday, I was doing some finish plumbing work on a brand new house in a brand new small development, and next door, was an amish crew putting up walls on a fresh site.

I hate to talk bad about them but we've done plumbing at multiple sites where the amish were "fired" from the site because of incompetency.. It was painful to see them struggle to read the blueprints... No backing behind hand grab bars in the bathroom... Drywall had to come off and bracing put in place. They had shingles FACE NAILED at the eaves because I don't know, they couldn't figure out how to stop wind from flipping them up??

I can get along with anyone willing to admit a lack of knowledge in an area, but when you just guess at the work as you go without accepting responsibility, my respect goes out the door with them...

Anyways, I too have mixed color work environment HAHAH it sucks having multiple chargers and batteries... I would love to use MIlwaukee's propress gun, but we bought a bunch of Ridgid guns for a deal and i have several Ryobi items for good price and just recently, the Makita drywall saw. Should be interesting!! I could have used that saw Wednesday!!

Yea Fuel SDS's seem to just about always flush the competition for a whole generation. The kicker is runtime...and Dewalt is being mindful of that because of the dust extraction piggy backing the battery, which actually makes a lot of sense. Fuel doesn't have that and for working in finished spaces that you don't want to completely douche, it's a deal maker. If you took the Fuel and popped a piggy back system on it with the output it has, you'd likely get only half as many holes per amp hour as Dewalt can accomplish.

It's valid statistics but unfair comparison if you're in the market for the dust extraction.

Lot of ho hum,I read.....why now ? Not before the release or included in the original warnings? No one thinks something happened and someone got hurt ? No one thinks there could a gag order or non disclosure agreement.........I think on toolguyd, it said don't use it in the rain, really? Because no construction workers work in the rain....just a little odd is all..

Yep, same with all the higher capacity batteries.. quite a bit more potential energy, just use common sense... If the battery is on the tool, extremely slim chance something can make contact with the terminals... Just like plugging in a corded tool, highly unlikely something will get into the receptacle, but it's still a possibility

  6. I keep my tools organised in the Milwaukee app, been inputting my tools on here for over a year now.

But I think yours is even more in-depth with how you can list by certain parameters ?

Because I'm not that tech-savvy, I just use what's available....

I still have a few tools to input yet that I've forgotten about over the last 6 months probably

  7. July 9th i'll be heading out, take two days to travel there, allow three days for the work, and hopefully meet up with @tonylandin which would be awesome! Hey Tony, i'll do anything in my capacity to make a BBQ work at your place! You name it, i'll bring it!

I've actually done this type of work before for government contracts, it's fun, a different experience, and an adventure.. Not too nice leaving the family behind, though. Modern communication makes it less stressful though!

Probably the route I'm taking, should be a little adventure

Wednesday: Another underground plumbing install, missed getting the finished pic, a brand new house we'll be doing the plumbing and HVAC at.

Concrete guys sets their forms ALMOST in the way, but i had spray painted a location we need to be so they stayed to the right of our work. I didn't understand why the builder wanted us to do the underground before the foundation walls were up, but as long as they don't hit our pipes, should be ok
