I would have a hard time recommending PC over Ryobi for most people
that's ok I have both and only Ryobi I use is the flashlight and the bag.. I just had bad luck with batteries with them they do have a lot of tools and porter cable has like 10 but working with both the pc feels better and is just nicer quality

that was a great video man! wow the ridgid was great. I thought the Milwaukee was goin to take it all when I heard u mention this yesterday.. that was a surprise forsure great job Jimbo

cant go wrong with the porter cable or bostitch pancake compressor and they always have a deal to get new air tools with them.. kobalt and husky have a nice 8 gal on wheels that are really nice also

Fazzman I know u didn't say anything bad sry if I came off that way. I have seen ur post and see u like the pc 20v line. in my head dewalt, Milwaukee, and Makita are at the top. Ryobi, black and decker, and masterforce are at the bottom Ryobi does have a nice tool selection tho. then ridgid, porter cable, and bosch fall in the middle great diy stuff but good enough to use on the jobsite also. it did take Stanley b&d a lil bit to catch TTI on tool selection but they seam to be narrowing the gap fast.

Hard to beat Ryobi, ridgid, or even Porter cable for home use and non home use really. when i was looking for cordless to use around the house I knew of all the brands out there. Ryobi, ridgid, and milwaukee share the same parent company. Porter cable is same parent company as dewalt.
Honestly its kind of hard to get a bad tool that wont do the job from any maker,so much is made nowadays of course there is gonna be a lemon or two here and there. Thats just how mass manufacturing is.
I really like the Porter Cable 20v line, plenty of power to do most any jobs around the house,I also use the Bosch 12v line and gotta say the compactness of them is what drew me to those. I too read about Ryobi battery issues,I also think Ryobi suffers from stigma of past issues.
Of course when you come to a site like this and most everyone is a contractor type they are gonna say milwaukee or Dewalt, or makita or whatever their favorite line is You dont really need all that power all the time to get things done, you just need the proper gear in general. in my opinion you should buy into the line that offers the most items that you will use most regularly, and of course you wanna compare the specs.
i know ridgid and porter cable seam to be geared that way but i am confident taking my porter cable to work daily doing kitchens or building decks. would feel same with ridgid the tools ive used of theres were nice. see them around jobsite more often now days

I had the Ryobi they have decent tools but I couldn't get the batteries to last my dad had same prob and the batteries almost the same price as all the others. I went with porter cable they have been way more reliable for me. the tools are a lot better quality. but u do have to go to lowes for that lol..

I got this speedway 7 in 1 power station on amazon best part about it is if u are not near a plug u pull that cord on the back and it generates its own power that is a awesome feature that haven't seen on others...
The side u cant see in the picture is a compressor I put air in 5 tires today and the battery is still full.. Great product for $72

I believe this works with Makita tools, but the cost is just stupid.
wow that's crazy price tag on that. never seen that before tho pretty cool looking, but ill take 4 batteries instead lol

well when (not if) the oil runs out will be too late just sayin lol. but the companies don't want the batteries lasting that long then we wont need 6 for 3 tools lol they would lose money. I know I have spent just as much if not more on extra batteries so we can keep working. but these are great ideas just dunno how far they would go. heck they say wind and sun cost to much for electricity. that I do not understand wind and sun happen daily at my house

it would be nice to have brushless power but man its hard to justify for me atm, I mean 400 bucks for drills wow could get the ridgid table saw. I haven't ran into anything that I would need it for but would be sweet to have the extra run time.
