I just seen a youtube video on this program. Its like fruit of the month but for tools? Has anyone tried this? They are using some pretty decent tool brands.

I wonder what was the cause of the fire? Theres no way to get back everything it took him almost a lifetime to acquire. Alot of the tools I have were left by my father, tools like that are irreplaceable.

I stumbled on this story an hour ago. Im still in the early stages of converting my garage into a nice workshop. It broke my heart when i read thua article. This guy lost his entire workshop in one night.

So far Home Depot, Lowes, Northern Tool, and Southwire dont do any discounts.

Most of my classmates just go for the reagular klein and greenlee strippers mainly cause of the tension issue with the irwins. I def wanna try the klein version.

Klein is coming out with strippers like the irwins but with the kleins you can adjust the amount of tension to strip smaller wires

I agree. Im emailing as we speak. You would figure most companies would advertise the discounts to get more people using their tools.

I wanted to know whats everyones favorite electrical tools. In my school there are all kinds of tools from different manufacturers that we use. So far my wish list is fluke for the mutimeter, klein for the nut drivers and lineman pliers, greenlee for strippers, knipex for pliers and irwin for diagonal cutters. I ve only been using these tools for 3 months now. Figured i would ask everyone whose been using their tools longer.

Do the big box stores offer the discount or should aim more to electrical supply stores?

Im definitely a fan of fluke. Those are the only meters we use in class.

Fastenal notified me they offer 15% off and Fluke is offering 25% offer certain meters. Every discount i have found so far i have been forwarding to my instructor. Hopefully it will help some of my classmates

I emailed klein 4 days ago the only response i recieved so far was them asking for the address of my school. Still waiting to hear from them. I emailed knipex and there was response was not at this time. I ll try amf contact Milwaukee tools. Ive always liked their electrical tool line up.

Im currently going to tech school to be electrician. While looking online I found that tech students can get discounts on tools. So far I found; Snap On, Matco, Mac, and Ingersoll Rand for 50% - 60% off tools, Craftsman has 50% off their toolboxes and first tool set purchase. Do any of the companies that make electrical tools have discounts for tech students? I only recieved a response from Greenlee tools that tech students get 30% off. The crazy thing about these discounts is you can only get them while attending school.

Hey finally decided to join the forum. I watch the youtube channel all the time. I do a lot of handy work around the house and Im going to school to become an electrician. Im also working on converting my garage into a workshop for woodworking and probably more. I must admit tools make the world go round.
