Hornviper

Hello everyone, I apologize in advance as this is a pretty stupid question, but I am still young and dumb. I normally use Bosch of Makita (that's what the nearest shops carry)grease for power tools maintenance(rotary hammers, angle grinders and percussion drills in my case). Some time ago I was given a tin of lithium grease. Can I use it as a substitute for the Bosch/Makita grease? What do you use? I am more than open to suggestions. Thank you for your help and time.
